Dragon Ball Super: Broly Breaks Dragon Ball’s Japanese Box Office Record!
I think by the time Dragon Ball Super: Broly hits the international waters, it should collect around 20-30 million USD from Japan alone. I know, this might be a lot but the hype and craziness is just too much for this movie. I am expecting United States to receive this movie in a good way and help it reach the 100 million USD mark at least. If it can reach 105 million USD, it can be at the #11 position which isn’t so bad as well.
If we want to achieve this goal, we would all have to support the creators and go watch the movie in the theaters. Well, I wish they could just release the movie together instead of such a huge gap between the national and international release. I am pretty sure it would have earned more than 40-50 million USD on it’s opening weekend if it was released worldwide. Well, we cannot do anything about that now, can we? We can just hope.
Well, what do you guys think about this whole scenario? Do you think this movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly has the ability to enter the Top 10 spot? Do you think it can at least take over Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F in terms of gross sales? I think this movie could be a start of something entirely new and Toei needed this momentum. Now I just hope they make the TV series announcement ASAP. Well, let me know your thoughts down below!
